Introduction
UKPARASEARCH(UKPS) was formed in October 2006 by experienced Paranormal Investigators, Bond & Beckett, based in the North West of England and is a non-profit making organisation.
Co-Founders Philip Bond and Steve Beckett bring with them, several years of investigating various types of locations, from small one roomed pubs, to prestige castles, but with the ever increasing interest in the paranormal and the potential of an easy money making sideline for some, we have a particular interest in less well known locations and carry out genuine investigations.
Inspiration To Search
A photograph taken during day light hours, of a group of RAF comrades. But one of the friends in the photograph wasn‘t physically there. Not to the naked eye anyway. That friend had died a few days previously. Is this picture fake, rigged by a hoaxer and placed on the World Wide Web to con all who stumble across it? Was it an exposure fault, combining two photo images?

For UKPS the solid proof that ‘ghosts’ exist is still absent and it will be our mission to search and record actual paranormal activity. We’re not alone in our quest, some groups and individuals have been searching for this evidence for decades, never able to totally convince themselves that their latest photograph, video recording, EVP or actual firsthand eyewitness account, could be the solid proof they have been searching for.

Investigation Approach
UKPS approach to investigations comes in three stages and begins with interviewing those witness to or effected by the claimed activity then the active area and location is assess for natural effects. With the use of equipment to record the environment, we enter the second stage attempting to detect movement unseen to the naked eye and sounds beyond human hearing frequency, we look to rule out natural and logical explanations for unknown activity first.
The second stage can be very short or as we have discovered with several of our investigations, can be very prolonged, given us time to assess activity for any patternings and more interesting when a location continuously produces varied possible accounts of paranormal activity.
Finally, we like to bring in the big guns, those who believe they can sense and communicate with 'others'. Beckett and Bond do not possess this ability and rely on a select few who they trust and admire for their abilities in their approach. This isn’t to say UKPS don’t believe, we’re not so sceptical or naïve to discard everything as natural.
After the long vigils and assessment of the mass of video and audio recordings, UKPS present their findings to the location/client in the hope to clarify whether what they are experiencing is paranormal activity or not. UKPS hopefully in return get the opportunity to publish some of findings.
UKPS are very interested in hearing from people who are experiencing 'odd' activity. Whether it be at home, at work or maybe a place where someone thinks needs a proper looking into. UKPS DO NOT charge for their services, it would be a pleasure.
